Look what just arrived - Matt and Kayla’s snowed in romance story as the cutest little paperback.

Anna and Rob’s love story is officially out in the world as an ebook! I’m so excited to send this story out into the world and into the hands of readers. It was the first story I wrote to the end, and it began its life as a fan fiction that I wrote for fun, around ten years ago.

The manuscript is with the proofreader and I can finally show you how my next novel is going to look like.

Bright City Lights is a contemporary romance set in London coming to a bookshop near you very soon!

Lots and lots of books, right?

Not necessarily. But that doesn’t mean that this author isn’t an avid reader, just that I don’t have the space to host all the books that I’ve read through my lifetime and that I will read in the future. That’s what public libraries are for haha. Sometimes I get jealous when I scroll through Instagram and see all the amazing bookshelves that people are displaying, and I look to my few bookshelves in the office and think to myself: I should have gone with that full wall of books in the living room that I tried to persuade my husband to get when we moved in.

The time here during Corona lockdown flies strangely, do you feel that way too?
Never has a January felt so long - not necessarily in a bad way, more that it's wild that so much and so little has happened at the same time in a month.
At the end of the month, I felt that a year must have passed - maybe it was wishful thinking because I hoped we would soon be beyond the Corona siege? Who knows.

The editing of Bright City Lights has been interrupted almost a million billion times (it feels like)…
